Significant changes in Hospital Microbial Flora
Nosocomial infection is defined as infection developing in hospitalized patients, neither present nor in incubation at the time of their admission.
Nosocomial Infection (NI) is the most difficult problems especially when deal with severally ill patients. More than 90% of NI caused by bacteria. Klebsiella pneumoniae, Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Proteus spp, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa are among the most common causative agents. Recent surveys have pointed out significant changes in microbial flora in various parts of body.
