Embryonic stem cells made from skin

US scientists successfully turned human skin cells into embryonic stem cells, transplanting DNA into an egg cell. US researchers have reported a breakthrough in stem cell research. The method described on Wednesday by Oregon Health and Science University scientists in the journal Cell, would not likely be able to create human clones. But it is an important step in research because it doesn’t require the use of embryos in creating the type of stem cell capable of transforming into any other type of cell in the body.

CHRONIC KIDNEY DISEASE, COULD IT BE HEALED?

Now, chronic kidney disease could be heal. Researcher from The Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (IBN) lead by Dr Daniele Zink, successfully generated human kidney cells from human embryonic stem cells within a laboratory research. This research show us that the renal cells could be created without using animals or organ. This method enables human embryonic stem cells to differentiate into renal proximal tubular-like cells in just a laboratory culture.

renal In this world, stem cells are biological cells, it is found in all most living things, include us, human. The cells can differentiate into diverse specialized cell types and can self-renew … -Continue Reading This Post-
